We are on Week 2 of our 30 Day Consecration Fast! A reminder of the fast details are below if you were unable to pick up a hard copy.

September 1 – 30, 2025

On September 1, 2025, the Mount Pisgah Harnett Church family is asked to join in a thirty-day consecration fast.  It is in keeping with our church theme for the year, Prospering Through Perseverance, as we position ourselves for the great things God has in store for the church in advancing the kingdom.  It is our strong conviction that there are seasons when consecration is crucial for us as we continue to pursue God.  To consecrate means to set apart for a specific purpose, and we are committed to being set apart for the work of the ministry.

In Psalm 139:23-24, David said, “Search me, O God, and know my heart: try me, and know my thoughts: and see if there be any wicked way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting.”  David’s request was predicated on his desire to have anything that would hinder his relationship with God to be discovered and removed from his life.  Everyone is asked to pray a similar prayer as a part of our time of consecration, so that any sin would be purged from our hearts.

The fast is as follows:

September 1 – 7, 2025 – fast as the Lord directs

September 8 – 14 – fast for the first six hours of the day

September 15 – 21 – fast for the first 9 hours of the day

September 22 – 30 – fast for the first 12 hours of the day.

Everyone is asked to give up sweets and junk food during the entire fast.

If there are events that had been planned before the fast was announced, you should plan to participate in them.
